I am Sommer Monike, the business owner of The Experience by Sommer Monike. I grew up in a very small town where basically everyone knew each other and going to Walmart was a 20-minute drive out of town. At a young age, I realized life wasn’t about where you were raised or where you come from but from what you make out of it and this is when my passion for traveling and planning started.

My passion for planning my own birthday parties and itineraries goes back to my childhood days but it officially kicked in during and post college years with planning girls trips, birthday trips, and bachelorette parties to Miami, Charleston, Atlanta, and etc. I have always been excited and overwhelmed with joy and anxiety with the planning and researching process and this is how I knew I loved the TRAVEL industry.

Fast forward to today, I am a travel consultant and have great experiences and opportunities to travel to Cancun, Rivera Maya, Tulum, Montego Bay, Negril, Aruba, Punta Cana, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Costa Rica, The Bahamas, Indonesia, St. Maarten, Turks & Caicos, and a host of other domestic and international locations. There are so many other places on my bucket list that I need to check off so I can be an even better “storyteller” when I share my exciting and wonderful experiences to my clients.
